If you drive from the rhine valley a little up in the hills you can find close to Eltville, 
Kloster Eberbach. The Kloster is a state owned vineyard, with wine cellers, a restaurant and a beautiful modern vinotheek. In the vinotheek you can find the wines of the Kloster and also taste them. For te wine group diner, I bought two Sekts. The cheapest version they have as well as the sekt from the Domain Steinberg. The cheapest version is easy to drink and a great aperitif. The second one however is really great , is full of aroma and has a nice body. The Domaine Sternberg sekt we combined with a small dish of sweet potato mash, Coquilles and concentrated balsamic vinegar.
